Risk Management Program Participation
Background:
A nonprofit organization initiated an employee wellness program using an incentive to encourage health risk assessment (HRA) completions and participation in one or more risk management programs. The object was to increase participation.
Solution:
Hallmark Business Connections' proposal included increasing the incentive amount from $50 to $100 and enriching the program communications by adding custom-branded awards that could be redeemed for their choice of hundreds of gift cards, HTML email and increasing the contact frequency. In addition, the program was opened up to add spouses of employees as well.
Results:
- Risk management program participation increased 437%
- With no change in incentive amount, HRA participation showed a 178% lift over the prior year
