Visit the Vyve Broadband website, and you’ll notice something. They don’t want to be “business as usual.” They’re friendly. They feel local. They believe in community and are firmly rooted in creating relationships with their customers.

Last year, the cable company partnered with Hallmark Business Connections to help bring those values to life at the holidays. It started with a simple drawing contest and ended with the Association of Cable Communicators’ Golden Beacon Award® with recognition for its impact within the cable industry and for enhancing cable’s reputation nationwide.

Their “Create Our Christmas Card Art Contest” garnered over 500 entries from kids in the nine-state area that Vyve serves. The winning artwork was featured on the company’s holiday card sent to their 200,000+ customers, and the winning artist also won an iPad mini, a Cookies & Cocoa party for his entire school and donation to the art department in the child’s school. Featuring non-Hallmark designs is not “business as usual” for the Hallmark Business Connections team. With a world-renowned creative staff, we’re used to creating original artwork for our clients, but Vyve’s relationship-building strategy just felt right.

With a Hallmark-written sentiment and personalization, the holiday card was complete and won Vyve a Beacon Award in the Community Relations category.
